Our approach

We look before we quote

Most of the housing we work in on the Peninsula is old, coastal, or both. That means mixed materials behind the walls, salt air working on anything exposed, and finishes that cannot be casually opened and patched. None of that is visible from a phone description.

So we look first. Then we plan the access, because in these houses how we reach the pipe often matters more to you than the repair itself — and we say plainly when the smaller fix is the correct one.

How we work
  • A price written after somebody has physically seen the problem
  • The smallest viable access, discussed before anything is opened
  • Camera footage shown to you, including the parts we think are fine
  • Work outside our trade named plainly, with a referral

How a job runs

Describe the symptom

What's happening, since when, and whether anything is actively leaking.

We look before quoting

Camera, meter check, or the smallest access that answers the question.

Plan the access with you

In an older house this is the part that affects you most. You approve it first.

Fix and verify

Work completed, tested, and written up so you have a record.

Feedback

What customers say

“Reached the leak from a closet instead of opening the original plaster. That decision alone saved more than the repair cost.”

Homeowner, Pacific Grove

“They work around the booking calendar. Turnover inspection between guests, and they labelled the shutoffs so my cleaner can stop water without calling anyone.”

Rental owner, Monterey

“Lateral camera inspection during the contingency period. Found root intrusion at two joints and gave me the footage. It changed the negotiation.”

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do you charge for a diagnostic visit?

For repair calls yes, and we tell you the amount before we drive out. Quotes that come from a walkthrough rather than diagnostics are generally free because that visit is part of pricing the work.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, licensed and insured in the State of California. Permits and inspections are part of the scope on work that requires them.

What areas do you cover?

We're on Washington Street in Monterey and cover the Peninsula — Monterey, Pacific Grove, Seaside, Marina, Carmel, and Del Rey Oaks. Call and ask if you're at the edge of that.

Do you handle emergencies?

Yes, and we prioritise active leaks and total loss of water. Availability varies by day and season — you'll get a realistic window rather than a promise we might miss.

What don't you do?

Plaster and finish restoration, landscaping, structural work, mould remediation, electrical beyond our own connections, and grease waste hauling. We coordinate with the trades that do rather than stretching our scope.

Do you work on older Peninsula homes?

Regularly, and it's a large part of what we do. Mixed pipe materials, plaster walls, and original finishes need a different approach from modern construction, which is why historic and older home work has its own page rather than being an afterthought.
